Such sad and beautiful verses from Deathcab.
I can relate many times feeling this post break up. I'm hoping this was a post for music more than a post of connecting with the words in this song, but I have a feeling the latter is the case. If I've guessed right, I encourage you to hang in there and just let the cliche' of time healing all wounds happen. Sometimes things/emotions shift and then we care for people with a different set of emotions.

And thank you for your kind words. I'm doing well most days, and determined everyday to not give up. Your encouragement is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, mate. It is a beautiful song indeed, but that has been my mentality a little. Trying to let everything go with my own ex jew camera boy (damn those dashing/asshole gentlemen!) and just move it along. Easier said than done, but time does heal everything, you're so right. It's just the unavoidable middle ground that's stupid. That and I've gotten a good dose of the concept lately that EVERYTHING is just a matter of context- shit is only as dire as you let it be in your life. That said, I hope the complexities you're going through can be alleviated in some way or another. I'm not one to often give coffeetable quotes of happy encouragement, but a positive attitude is damn near everything!

(yes, new rant is available now! but despite getting jilted, i am still positive and happy)

But you are right in that everything is just a matter of context.

Nowadays, shit's only dire for me when my ability to enjoy a good martini is hindered.
