Between the Nine Inch Nails + Jane's Addiction concert, soup line at the Edison, hanging in Griffith Park and Dave and Buster's, it's been a most satisfactory birthday weekend. Seriously just what I've been needing and probably the best since 21 in Vegas (almost as good drink quality-wise, but not quite). No quarter-life crisis here, I've got lots to look forward to!

Baller.

Sounds like an awesome weekend! NIN? My girlfriend will be so jealous when I tell her this. Happy birthday!

P.S. You look super cute in that picture.

Well thank you! NIN puts on a great show...I saw them in 2005 as well, but this one is a high-energy tour. I heard that this is their last tour for a looong time. They're still going to be touring through the US most summer, so tell the girlfriend to get onboard the NINJA train!

Happy early birthday to you, too! Congrats on completing year 1 in med school and have a blast in Africa!!! Take lots of photos!

(Thank you, and yes- It's amazing how you look instantly smug while wearing someone else's Ray-bans. Truly an incredible phenomenon)

Welcome to 25! NINJA Tour? Word. Griffith Park is sweet but I must recommend Franklin Canyon (where On Golden Pond was shot) for ultimate serenity. Hope 25 is a great year for you!

Thanks lady! I have a major boner for Dave Navarro, so it was a great concert! Went to Griffith to celebrate Sam Proof's bday, actually. I haven't been to let alone heard of Franklin Canyon, but I need to investigate. I've realized that I'm all about the cheapness and solidarity parks provide. Not to mention a brief escape from all things LA. Angeles Crest is great for that, too (though more for hiking/driving around than bumming around).
